Well, since I couldn't comment on Seeking Solace, I'll just do it here - whatever you were doing the day you drew your last two pieces, you did it good, because your lineart and poses have improved greatly in nearly zero time. thank you for commenting :) i turned off comments on it, because there can be a really unfriendly atmosphere toward cutting and whatnot on this site, so i figured it would be best just to avoid it entirely.
Yes, well, I personally find cutting to be a really, REALLY stupid thing to do, but I can't really judge since, you know... I'm an ex-freak\emo\whatever so that's sort of the place that I come from.
well, i'm a recovering cutter *hides* but here is the dumb thing--i never liked it, and always considered it stupid. and that's why it's been so easy to give up cold turkey. hmm.
but it's a crutch. one that a lot of people really use, and some really seem to need. i just happen to think art makes a better crutch than blood.
Well, what I always find to be 'true artist' about me is that what I always hate the most are the stuff from my part. I.e. I used to draw manga and now I really hate kids in my school who draw manga. I cut myself only once, about 4 years ago, and I pretty much despise all the emo kids who do so [mainly because I was sort of an emo kid too, only before it was called 'emo].
As I said, I don't judge about this topic. I respect you thus I do believe you're not doing it out of some childish need for attention. To be honest I was quite shocked when I read about it for the first time in your journal a while ago, I wouldn't have ever guessed.
I am glad you think so though. I have a slight problem expressing my mental condition through art.
